Tyrethian Calendar

The Tyrethian calendar is based on the names of the Gods- those in favor on a mostly good continent, in any case. While all the Gods are acknowledged and respected, the months of the calendar are named after the Gods that are generally seen as the most benevolent.

Erasta
Iomeda
Tora
Sarena
Shelyna
Desna
Caydenato
Abadato
Iroriato
Gozrehta
Phara
Nethysta

Similarly, each time period of 1000 years is attributed to a particular God. The Era Age has passed (1000 years) and the world is currently in the Io Age, year 179. The year will typically be referred to as the Year of the God/Goddess, i.e. this 179th Year of the Goddess.

Days of the week are (for simplicity’s sake) the standard Monday to Sunday, with a little inflection to differentiate them, but more or less the same as in reality.
